Upgraded Wordpress from a 1.5 version to the newly released 2.0 today and was somewhat disappointed to find the upgrade process troublefree, and therefore, for me at least, almost fun-free. While there are lots of changes there aren’t all that many changes that you will notice. One nice thing is the new Akismet spam protection system.

I still have to upgrade, the thing i’m worried about though is the themes. Would my theme be affected if I upgraded? I’d hate to have to go through the trouble of re-coding the theme (butchered downloaded theme).
Just make sure you don’t overwrite your theme, and copy it back in after you do the upgrade. Worked for me.
Thanks Cliph. I read that a lot of people are holding off on upgrading because v2.0 for various reasons (bugs, no special reason to upgrade etc).
