Had our work party last night, we went to the Boulevard Café. Nice place, nice food and it came quickly. Lots of other christmas parties there too. When I was tucking into my main course I was very pleased to hear Kenny Roger’s rendition of ‘When a Child is Born’ coming over the speakers. When we had 3 courses down they cranked up the music and everyone, now being quite drunk, got up and danced. First to some crimbo classics (Live Aid etc.) and then some old reliables (Dolly Parton). Meal details below.
After the meal and before my smashed colleagues went to some wine bar on Leeson street I said my goodbyes and went to meet some people in Spirit. I was very surprised to find out that my name with a +5 was on the guest list. That was quite funny. I must have emailed someone last week asking about it, I never got a reply though. The part of the night spent in Spirit was good fun actually, carefree dancing. Very cruisey place. Didn’t get to bed until around 5am.
Arrived to work at around 11am and found out this very pleasing news from Smart Telecom. They’re upgrading everyone to 6Mb/s download, 512Kb/s upload for a month starting December 15th. Very nice. I’ve always been happy with the 2Mb/s download but it’ll probably be difficult to go back to after a month of 6Mb/s. Hopefully this “offer” is actually a trial of a higher capacity service that might be on offer in the future.
I’ll be 26 in 3 days. Hold me.

Tuesday
~7pm - Dinner:

• Cheese and potato gratin
• Too much crumble and custard

Wednesday
~10am - Breakfast:

• Hot chocolate
• Scone & butter

~4pm - Lunch/Dinner:

• Veg. calzone
• White hot chocolate
• Tiffin slice

~9pm - Finger Food:

• 2 7-Ups
• Couple of pieces of Spanish omelet
• Couple of deep fried olives (it’s true!)
• Couple of pieces of deep fried green pepper

Everything that could be deep fried, was.

Thursday
~1:30pm - Lunch:

• Spinach and mushroom crepe
• Apple juice
• Half a waffle with ice cream, pecans and maple syrup

~10:30pm - Dinner:

• 2 cokes
• Spinach and pine nut tartlet
• Filo parcel with stuff inside, not sure what it was, mostly green
• Baileys cheese cake
• Baileys coffee

Friday
~11am - Breakfast:

• Mocha
