Turns out my mail was bouncing all day due to my stupidity a boo-boo. Whoops.
Wonder what I missed! If you sent me something, send it again.
[ Update ]
Wise asses and lameoids, I would never bounce mail on purpose.
Misunderstood by everyone, everywhere.

Walking home in the rain isn’t always bad. Certainly not when it was as sunny as it was this evening. Really bright beams shining through the fall, You could tell it was just a shower.
When you realise you picked today to wear your shoes with holes in the soles it becomes slightly less good but not ruined. (Must ask for a raise)
I revaluated my stance on Bangladesh and told work I would go.

Saw Me and You and Everyone We Know at the weekend. The brief inclusion of ASCII art, emoticons and IMing (they used Gaim!) pleased me greatly. I loved the score by Michael Andrews, who also scored Donnie Darko, so I picked both of them up from CD Baby who are really great to deal with and have the novel option of shipping you CDs without any of the plastic that they normally come with, just the cover art, booklet and CDs themselves to save you on shipping charges.
Anyway, I really recommend you go see Me and You and Everyone We Know, it’s currently in the Cineworld (formally UGC) cinema on Parnell St. and also the IFI.
Also caught Bewitched at the weekend and I recommend you avoid that.
It seems that many good people have been passing on recently. There was an article not so long ago said that because so many people have been known in popular culture that the number of publicly known who’ll be morned, in papers and obituary columns and so on is going to grow exponentially ’till they take up a sizable percentage of such publications. It’s a modern curse. Find the article for me lazyweb? I know you know the one.
So I told work I am refusing to go to Bangladesh. They still want me to go and don’t believe it’s dangerous. I’d told them that if I go it’ll be because they are forcing me and I would be very unhappy and, honestly, scared.
Here’s a page from the British Foreign Office.
Let’s see how this goes.
Some time ago I went to a DATA meeting by accident and saw some excellent work from digital video artists in Dublin. The last one shown was a video by Simon Doyle of suitably CC-licensed pictures of circular objects set to Philip Glass‘ ‘Music In similar Motion‘.
I defy you to watch it the 13 minute video (43MB .mov) the whole way through with wide eyes and not feel yourself getting lost in the overwhelming aural and visual feast. The combination of the great Glass piece and the pictures is really quite hypnotic.
