Funniest Slashdot comment of the moment, on the rumor that Apple are developing a two-button mouse:

This morning I woke up and the skies were coloured of sackcloth, and the sun coloured as blood, and there was this distinct crunching sound on the floor as I walked over a carpet of locusts, and there were these strange markings on the outside of my door…. now I know why.
Personally, I use a Microsoft 5-button (Microsoft do one thing really well - make hardware, I like their keyboards and mice) Intellimouse Optical in silver. I use the forward and back buttons to scroll between tabs in Firefox and also to activate different Exposé modes.
The Intellimouse my brother had made my wrist sore - all those buttons needing fingers placed upon them… Maybe the one-button wonder Apple have fed to the masses recently has it’s advantage in that you don’t actually have a ‘button’ as such which requires you to twist your hand and fingers about the place to specific places. Hopefully I’ll avoid Carpal Tunnel Syndrome when I grow up.
Having the extra buttons is nice but not a requirement.
The keyboards are great though - I always got along well with those. Everyone loves the ’sleep’ button.
This has absolutely nothing to do with this post:

Nice new site design by the way. Very pretty.
Identify yourself, human.
that annoying little shit kopf/redrum from the bad old dalnet days.
i saw you at the gig, good wasn’t it? went mad for the analord stuff lackluster played.. when himself and cylob were up on stage they also played one of my all-time favourite tunes, i think it’s a ceephax track (i’ve tried to get it id’d before but didn’t have much luck).
it starts at 7 minutes 30 seconds in the aphex twin / luke vibert 626 soundclash (12-01-2003), or at around 7 minutes 15 seconds on the bootleg of aphex twin vs luke vibert live @ pukkelpop 2002 (pretty much the exact same set except with crowd noise).
any idea what this song is? if you don’t have these mp3s i’ll yousendit to you if you wish. they’re very good.
i also managed to loose a week-old 40gb iPod at the gig. huzzah! thank god for insurance.
That’s one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard of anyone doing.
hey - glad you like cylob gig. woo woo.
more to come - luke vibert in a month. woo woo.
